one girl's thoughts...
I love how this is an absolutely perfect account of how you made this sandwich, with absolutely perfect grammar. 10/10 :) Plus, that sandwich does look pretty damn awesome. Now I want a grilled cheese sandwich. :) Good job, B.THE MOST BADASS GRILLED CHEESE IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND
So, I get home to find both my parents, and all my siblings gone. My tummy rumbles, so naturally, my first mission is to make some food. Since I was alone, I figured I could go beyond the bland and try to create a brand new, fresh burst of flavors. So this is what I came up with:Pepper Jack Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Jalapenos.
My, oh my. This was going to be crazy. I’ve been having these constant, weird cravings for jalapenos, so this was going to be perfect. I poured myself a glass of orange juice, grabbed a slice of pepper jack to munch on, and assembled the ingredients.
Heated up the skillet, buttered that bitch, and dropped the bread to grill. Toasted and warm bread was then layered with pepper jack cheese, and left to melt. When the cheese was at a goopy stage, jalapenos were carefully gathered on top of one of the cheese-covered slices of bread. The sandwich was then closed, and left to melt. Then, the sandwich was transported onto a plate, and I washed the dishes while letting it cool. Put away the skillet, topped off my glass of orange juice, and brought the sandwich to the table to experience my creation.
OH LORD, WAS THIS DELICIOUS! I was so surprised with myself, that I had made something so perfect myself! The cheese was melted, but solid enough to not be painful, or messy. The bread was buttery, warm and toasted. And the jalapenos were concentrated in between the two melted cheeses for that extra oomph. I fell in love with this sandwich.
ADDED BONUS: Ended the night with a chocolate fudge bar. Perfect balance to the spicy sandwich. Yum!
Final Grade: 10/10
It’s been an awesome week. :) Got hugs from some pretty awesome people on Tuesday for their grad cards, good mood lasted throughout the week, saw all my guys yesterday at the soccer banquet, got thanked in Coach’s speech and the guys all clapped for me, and I got a Central League Champs medal. :) And new clothes and Converse. Plus today was a mix homework/movie day. All in all, a perfect week. Let’s see if it continues this week. Fingers crossed! :)
I hate crazy people on the bus. Today some crazy guy went off on a rant about gophers after I told my friend’s little brother to stop acting like one, and then he spends the whole rest of the ride trying to talk to me and get my attention and blowing kisses at me. I was kind of afraid to get off the bus and walk past him, so I just went to her house. Damn crazy people.
I agree 100%. I hate that phrase. It’s exactly like “everything happens for a reason.” I’m so sick and tired of gearing that phrase. No, everything does not happen for a reason. A lot of things happen for no reason at all. People don’t die for a reason. It’s also like the phrase “I’m sorry” when people find out someone you know dies. No, they’re not sorry, because it’s not their fucking fault! Don’t apologize for something that A. You had NOTHING to do with, and B. Something that was beyond your control anyway. It’s fucking useless, just like “If it is meant to be, it will.”You know, I’m really sick of hearing the phrase “if it is meant to be, it will be” and all kinds of variations based thereon. I understand what it means, and to a certain extent it’s true! If something is truly meant to be, then it will be, of course, and if something truly is not meant to be,…
